Ha!&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;The reality is that we are all happily speeding down the "Highway to Hell," with our middle finger raised in God's direction, until his amazing grace regenerates our heart so that it will love him and hate sin, instead of the other way around.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;It's like Baxter wrote in &lt;A HREF="http://www.ccel.org/ccel/baxter/saints_rest.html" REL="nofollow"&gt;Saints' Everlasting Rest&lt;/A&gt;: "This is the woful case of all mankind since the fall. Then, guys like this come out and lump us in with any and every heretical group they can find.  Yeah, there are some (many?) rabid Calvinists out there that are a little over-zealous in the way they approach the debate, but most that I've come in contact with are zealous in their doctrine but compassionate toward those they disagree with.  Most Calvinists I know were Arminians at one point in time, before they studied the Bible on these issues and saw what God's word really says about them.  So, at least for me, I consider most Arminians to just be very immature Calvinists who may one day come around, if they study the scriptures.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;I also think it's funny that I'm a heretic for baptizing my children (we're PCA presbys).  I would NEVER call a Baptist a heretic for waiting to get baptized, or waiting to baptize their children, until they were able to make a fully articulated statement of faith.  I would disagree with the position, but it is easy for me to admit that there is a lot of gray area on that one and that both sides can be fairly well supported scripturally.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;It's a good thing we have guys like Cloud out there protecting us from such dangerous, biblical doctrines! The church has not rplaced Israel per se but is a continuation of God's work of redemption and in that sense Paul calls the believers (Gentile) "Israel". &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;I&gt;"And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God."&lt;/I&gt; (Gal 6:16) &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;A distinction is made between outward Jewishness (ethnicity) and true Jewishness, which includes Gentiles:&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;I&gt;"But it is not as though the word of God has failed.
